What you’re going to notice over the next 7-14 days:

  • Immediately after the procedure, it is normal to feel tingling and tenderness, along with some swelling. You may ice around the area to relieve swelling.
  • Brow shock is real!! Freshly done eyebrows will appear dark and thick for the first few days but will fade about 20-40% lighter after the scabs peel off. The size will also shrink a little after the scabbing.
  • When the scabs peel off, the skin underneath may look very light. DON’T WORRY! The pigment will resurface in a few days- please be patient.
  • Dry heal for days 1 &2.
  • It’s very important that you do not get the treated areas too wet until the healing process ends (7-14 days).
  • After Day 2, apply a thin layer of Bacitracin or Aquaphor twice a day until all scabs peel off. Use a clean cotton swab each time to avoid inflection.
  • Applying a thin layer of ointment before showering and using the provided visor/shield, will help protect your brows from getting wet.
  • Do not touch, rub, or pick the scabs that form! Picking at the scabs may result in pigment loss.
  • Avoid sun exposure, heavy workouts/sweating, swimming, sauna, gardening, and contact with animals until healed.
  • Avoid harsh cleansers that include acids such as AHA, BHA, Salicylic acid, etc.
  • Avoid make-up or tinting on the treated area until healed.
  • Use sunblock on healed brows to prevent pigment fading.
  • If you experience unusual itching, swelling, or blistering during the healing process, stop using ointment and contact me immediately. You may be having an allergic reaction to the product you are using.
  • If you believe you have an infection, please contact your physician immediately- symptoms may include excessive redness, swelling, tenderness, elevated temperature, red streaks going from the treated area toward the heart, and purulent drainage.
